For Your Eyes

In an effort to stay active I submitted two pieces to the Division of Arts & Museums Statewide Annual Competition and Exhibition: Mixed Media and Works on Paper. And, I was surprised to find they both got in. Oh Joy! The exhibition is at the Rio Gallery in Salt Lake City, and will be up through November 24. And funny thing: my high school art teacher, Mr. Rees, was also in the show and won an award. Oh Joy, Again!

  1. Is that a print of Solomon I spy up there?

  2. That is Solomon! It's titled "Life After Death." I don't know if you know, but we had to put Solomon asleep a couple years ago.

  3. Yeah, it was a sad thing to hear. Solomon was the most awesomest dog ever. And for some silly reason, his obsessive palm licking was relaxing. I never had another creature do the same thing until our pet rat Athena. We just had to find a new home for her. I have no idea if the new kid will grasp just how great she is.
